This forum is a lot more positive than what you'll encounter in the truck stops and on the CB.

My coffee must be just so; ie. made by me at, precisely, when I get up and again at 5 pm. I eat like a human, no truck stop roller dog at 65 MPH; I require a plate and a napkin. I'll take a paper plate and a paper towel. I don't require filet mignon but it must be a civil affair.

I shave my head but not my mustache, I work with wood, I have thousands of dollars worth of power tools and I make passes at women in public places. I am, without qualification, a real man and I take no shame in admitting that I am a pretty, pretty princess. If you want to drink truck stop swill, go without a shower for five days, pee in a Gatorade bottle so as to get in an extra twenty miles for the day, knock yourself out. I don't judge you. You better make real sure you don't judge me either.
Hey, there's nothing wrong with having standards and living like a human being, Driver. That ain't what I'm talking about.

When I refer to "Princess Drivers," I'm talking about the ones whose favorite words are "I don't wanna."

You know--"I don't wanna go to New York. I don't wanna go to Canada. I don't wanna go to California. I don't want this load, I don't want that load, this truck sucks, this road sucks..."--and so on. You could give these fools a 6-figure salary, a brand-new 600hp 18spd KW900L with the 86" Super Studio and a dedicated run from their front door to their favorite destination, and they'd still be whining.

I commend you for living like a civilized person instead of a backwoods savage. Would that more drivers did.

There is no such thing as the perfect job in the truckin industry. However your kinda like a puzzle piece, find out where and what works best for you and be happy with that. But then you get the guys that just like to ##### about how bad they have it instead of doing something about their situation. I get so tired of hearing these guys ####### about the samethings, they run 100mph from one truckstop to the other just so they can ##### about how their dispatcher gives them a run that's impossible to make. I guess what I'm tryin to say is if you don't like it just change it, it's not a crime and who knows you might even like it.

Apologies for being a board princess...

GrumpyDad do you realize how difficult it is to read cyan type on a white backround?

"I don't wanna strain my eyes!" LOL

"Truckin on Through" I'm very sorry about using the wrong color, but it looked okay on my dark blue background. As far as what the other guy said about ignoring it, I would'nt waste my time talking to someone like that!! People like that would rather critacise than try to post some useful information. I apologize again and if I can be of any more help please let me know. Just trying to help. I hope this color helps you read it a little better. I can't use black as I said my background is dark blue.

Just right click on it and drag, like if you were cutting and pasting
It makes it readable

"Baack" Thanx for helping out. The other color made it real easy for my old eyes to see it without a problem. I can see this color pretty good also, I hope this works for everybody else. I apologize to everyone that it might have offended.

The Originial comment was aimed at Medicine Man about his greased pig comment. When I grow up I'm going to drive for
Schneider. Love the color of their trucks.
