You do know that lying on an application if fraud, don't you? As in criminal, wind up back in the slammer if convicted fraud? Bad advice to be giving those who are attempting to turn their lives around and become productive members of society.....

I don't work for FedEx freight. I work for FedEx custom critical and even so, try getting a job with them when you have felonies on your record that are less than 6 or 7 years old. I don't work for FedEx, I contract with them. In order for a company to contract with them the employees for that company must pass the FedEx background check. It's a check, that goes back as far as 18 years old.

Yeah and grown men don't have sponge bob for an icon little boy. If you are sitting at a dock waiting for hours and days then did you ever think that maybe it's you who is doing it wrong? I don't sit anywhere for free. I don't wait around for loads. I'm a company driver and I bring home at least 1500 per week. I'd say it's you that doesn't know what you are doing. But I'm sure you'll come back with how you have been driving for 100 years and how you make a million bucks a week driving your own custom made top of the line Pete that was built especially for you cause you know the president of the company right?

I dont need to flip burgers, I do just fine driving a truck, I just dont need knuckleheads being part of this industry driving down pay & condictions, and to you brsims..its called perjury not fraud, it may be fraud to repersent yourself as something that your not ..but misrepersent facts on a app is pejury at best...Something truck companies never do right? Lie to me get lie right back too, driving at truck dont require high morals, if you had those you'ld be preaching in a church ...

People and companies that behave like unreformed felons are what causes MOST of the problems in the trucking industry. NO ex-felons should think that they "paid for their crimes" because they have not. What they should be asking themselves is are they willing to behave like responsible members of society NOW and for the rest of their lives. No injustice in life or in prison justifies a lifetime commitment to disrespecting another person's rights. "So-and-so did it, therefore I can do it too!" is recognized by almost everyone as a poor excuse for immoral behavior. That so many ex-felons are coming out of prison thinking "I paid for my crimes." indicates what a poor job the criminal justice system is doing in helping to make their inmates productive members in society. That is not the felon's fault. But it IS the felon's fault that once he knows what is wrong he continues to excuse his own "sins" to continue to behave immorally towards others for his own gain. I believe in second chances when I can afford it and when the person indicates he appreciates it. And many others do also. But many still are unenlightened. Unfortunately many still enjoy getting their kicks in when another one is down.

See this is BS right here, your not an employee of fedex but you have to go through their background check to pull their trls.. really dude if your that close try with everything you got to get on with fedex freight.. you will do better than 1500 per week..2k per week is common over there and you'll be home on weekends

Wow...methinks me sees a soon to be former member. I'm not gonna report this to the mods, but insulting another member is a big no-no around here. Try to keep it civil, or I will be forced to report, mmm-kay?

I beg pardon. I've heard it referred to as fraud so I believed that to be the appropriate term. I was under the impression that perjury was providing false testimony under oath. Could you provide validation for your definition?

    Perjury definition: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/perjury?s=t

    Fraud definition: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Fraud?s=t

Going by the definitions I've provided, I still feel that willfully lying upon an employment application is considered fraud. Whereas claiming I lie would be considered libel: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/libel?s=ts

Again, as I have previously asked, lets try to keep it civil, yes?

    HwyPrsnr Thanks this.
