Quick Question

Ok, i got a ticket last year for causing a minor fender bender.
Damage was less than $500.

Adjudication was withheld, so what do i answer to this on applications?

Yes as to being convicted or no?

It could go either way, so Id like to hear what to put down.

thanks.

well seriously you don't want to lie to a prospective company. if it could go ither way then it is your best best to mention it and answer it yes. question for you, did you pay any kind of fine ? does it show up on your MVR or your personal insurance ? this could be a determining factor as well what you write down.

if that question is asked, tell the truth,if there isn't a question or something isn't mentioned, keep quiet. If in doubt always tell the truth,if you lie, that company will believe you will lie about anything. Trucking and lieing don't get it. good luck.

ok i am missing something here. things are not adding up. ok you got in the fender bender last year and caused less than 500$ in damage and then what ? what happened exactly after that ? and it won't show up on a 3 year report but it will on a 11 yr report. i never even heard of a 11 yr report. they usually run 3, 5, and 7 yr from the mvr and dot usually does 5 on driving and have been known to pull the 7 yr. some info has not been included here from you. if you want an honest answer you are gonna have to give all info and not withhold info.

stop being quick to point fingers about my honesty.

I mentioned that adjudication was withheld, meaning I went to court and pled no contest.

Here is the exact wording taking from the site that provided me my Motor Vehicle Report.

flmvr.com/appr. add html to the end as proof to where I got it

Quote:
I understand that Florida MVR Services, Inc. obtains the driving record directly from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles and the information received is that which is currently available for the type record I am requesting. I understand that Florida does not display a violation, suspension, accident or other charge on my three-year or seven-year Record if I was found not guilty, or if the charge was dismissed, or if adjudication was withheld. I understand that if I received a ticket and then went to driving school to have the points removed from my record the infraction is considered "adjudication withheld" and will not appear on my three-year or seven-year Florida record. I understand that if I need this information I must order a complete record. A complete driving record contains all driving infractions and correspondence from the Florida DMV for the past 11 years. If the Florida DMV has received infractions reported by other states it will include those infractions as well. Certain serious infractions such as DUI's may remain longer than eleven years.

It all depends on the company if they run a 5 year or a 10 year MVR.. So, the one answer would not be correct for all companies. The fact is if you don't tell them about it and they are one who checks a 10 year then most likely you will not get the job. Another thing you will need to check is the DAC report and see if the company reported it on there as well.

I also misunderstood and thought it was recent, don't worry about it if its not recent on your three years, the companies and insurance ussually only care about the last three years, unless of course it resulted in some type of felony, then they will ask you on applcation in a diff spot. The ten year application is mandontory for drivers but it just asks and cares where and what you have done the last ten years.
