When entering a temp inspection station, and only one inspector is under a truck on a dolly, do I have to stop?

Go through slowly but you don't have to stop unless told to . There may be another officer down the road citing those that don't pull in .
airforcetoo Thanks this. -
he took the time to stop and post his question on the internet before rolling through.
if the sign says open then you must roll through.
of course, there's a couple of stations that i went rolling on by as there are no signs to indicate TRUCKS must stop. there's one in virginia i think it is that simply says vehicle inspection station. hard to tell if it was a rest area or a scalle but the parking lot was full of cars and trucks when i went by in the day. totally empty at night. absolutely nothing saying commercical verhicles or such over a certain weight MUST ENTER.airforcetoo Thanks this. -
I know I must enter if the lights are flashing it's open. But once in the station, if no one points to me to pull over, can I continue going slowly through? There is no permanant scale .

If no one tells you to stop keep going unless you want to volunteer.

sign says OPEN WHEN FLASHOING. but every one keeps on rolling through. LOL.airforcetoo Thanks this. -
It sounds like you're talking about PA or NY. Just roll through slowly and if they want you, they'll let you know.
airforcetoo Thanks this. -
Thank you yes it has happened to me on I95 northbound entering PA, but also in Delaware

Always stop and be sure... And if stopped, answer every question politely and give the officers their proper respect. If ure in a bad mood sometimes that can be contagious
