Let him cross a scale with 4 blown bags leaking air. That road service just went up.

Good idea, write up the damaged trailer so your company knows, then drop it and pick up the next pre-loaded trailer, if your company agrees. Make sure your company knows, so the next driver doesn't get stuck. Let your company make the decision on repairs; who/what/when,etc.

It needs to be fixed prior to dropping to get preloaded. Think about it, drop at shipper and leave with loaded trailer. Now yard dog comes and puts it in a door to load it. Making everything that much harder to repair with say 44,000 pounds.

I suppose there is a reason he is an England trainer. I knew it had to be crst or England because they are the main 2 to hire dummy's like this guys trainer.

im confused by some of this guys post lol

Also when you want to slide the tandems you keep the trailer brakes set so your tandem stays put while moving the trailer back and forth....

I never heard of blowing air bags moving the tandems so I would love to see this in action

Well for the sake of your career in trucking you need to report it ASAP. You don't want the company to fire/ding your dac because you knew and went right along with it. Believe me they read these forums and they will find out.

Part of the problem and not part of the solution. What comes around goes around. The preloaded trailer has two flats, a burnt out stop light and the brakes are out of adjustment! :biggrin_25522:

Similar things have happened to me, someone leaving a damaged trailer that I get to pick up. I didn't complain, I wrote it up, called the dispatcher, then immediately went on hourly breakdown pay until the trailer is fixed. It wasn't much, $12.00 an hour, starting as soon as I logged the breakdown, so just kick back and let life roll on.
