I-90 is a fairly extensive little stretch of road, can you be more specific?

 

Look at Schneider. They're strong there and offer all sorts of opportunities and options for future consideration. And there are others such as maybe Roehl or Knight

 

Check Careerbuilder website to see which trucking companies hire from your location.

Ignore any "experience required" on trucking company websites & apply anyway.

Try applications with these, but the more the better:

Dynamic Transit
Morehouse Truck Line
Melton Truck Lines
Prime Inc. (refrigerated/tanker/flatbed divisions)
Schneider National (many divisions:tanker/intermodal/van dedicated, etc.)

Try for tanker as first choice.

 

Odd....I work for Wolding and I'm in that area all the time.

 

Yeah, that seems odd. I know some companies only care that you're close to 90 in NY. Anyway, HOW seems ok, but I don't think they're anything special enough to be upset about, lol. Prime, TMC (Their recruiter told me all of NY as long as you're within 20 miles of 90), Maverick, US Xpress, Crete/Shaffer are just a few decent companies that have huge hiring maps. Beside Prime and Maverick, who I haven't check a map on yet, I know the other guys hire from Central NY.
