| Pull out the plug and spread the metal apart w/a pocket knife. Each male part of the plug is actually split and they actually wear. Hope that fixes ya. Be very careful if ya don't know where you're goin, cuz ya might not get there. YOGI BERRA |

| When I did drop and hook, I carried a spare pigtail, the female terminals in your pigtail also wear. I have spread the pins as well, but sometimes it is quicker to use a tarp strap to pull the whole plug up a little, putting a slight twist on the plug. The other thing is that the spring in the cover of the receptacle on the trailer disengages so the cover doesn't hold the plug very well. The tarp strap is the best temp fix for that. |
