    My brothers and I are starting a new trucking company. How does the fuel surcharge work?

    In a nutshell, fuel surcharge is a fee that you charge your customers, anytime the DOE (dept of Energy) average price of fuel is over a certain price (I believe $1.25).

    there is a phone number i do not have it on me at this time that gives you the fuel surcharge for the certian parts of the country then u multiply it by how many miles you run if u want the number let me know and ill grab it for u no problem
