I won 103.00 dollars in virginia a couple of weeks ago, playiny the new bug games in the truckstop,I bought a galaxy 929, just had to pay 40 something more to get it,wanted to get the bigger one,but the freightliner columbia has a tight radio hole cutout and in the past had trouble with mike wire coming out the side of the cb,the 929 has a front radio connection,I won't have it tuned as it works fine for me. Everytime I get one turned up it overmodulates when talking close, with this cb,I can sit next to another truck and hear and talk great and clear with rf turned up and mic turned up all the way and the power switch up all the way. I guess in my older age, radios don't impress me that much anymore, but,I never turn it off, when that truck starts up and its in gear to go that cb gets turned on with the squelch wide open, seen way too many accidents out there in my life, still want to live life to the fullest and never want to ever hurt anybody, including myself. Its the most safety orientated device we have out here, besides eyes ears and brakes,oh,I forgot brains,we all use that sometimes but not enough. Remember my favorite saying,"Staying Alive Is No Accident''',never one truer statement in our occupation.
