Didn't know where else to put this as I couldn't find a "Are you dumb? Post here!" Forum.
Anyways. Took my load locks out of my empty trailer at a t/s. Leaned them against the back of my tractor so I could put them in the lock harness. But before I did so I wanted to quickly clean out my trailer. Trailer is clean, so I jump back in my truck to head out, of course completely forgetting about my load locks. About 5 ft after I move I hear a pop and my tire pressure warning going off. Jump out of the truck and realize I ran over a load lock and it split my super single up.
I FEEL AWESOME!!!!
Bros, im awesome!!

Oh man, that sucks. I thought you were gonna say you lost the locks....lost a tire to...sorry to hear that. Make sure you sign up for the Michelin advantage program though since they charge about half the price you see on the tag form most tires.

Most would have had an excuse I might have tried to hide the evidence LOL. Stuff happens when its minor and uneventful its forgotten soon and thats a good thing.

I just replaced a Michelin super single on a trailer for $1300 out the door. How much less do you think it would have cost if I was signed up for the advantage program?

Wonder what woody is going to tell his company and if his company is going to make him pay his mistake.I have cleaned out trls and move locks to the side while sweeping it out.Im lazy so it would have been too much work to first take the locks out then climb back in trl.
blairandgretchen and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
From bro to pro. Everyone makes mistakes and you Sir can at least enjoy the moment.

You not only admitted it, but did it with a sense of humor. Wish more people still had that humor!!!! Thanks for the giggle.
