Anyone has gotten a Tanker Job out of School? Im abound to enter school in the next couple months and i really rather go straight to Tanker driving Is it realistic i will be Relocating to the Georgia area for school and work

Eligible CDL Driver Applicants
- Experienced truck drivers
- Recent truck driving school graduates
Full-time CDL drivers are eligible for:
- Up to $54,200 per year*
- $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced drivers
- $3,750 sign-on bonus for recent truck driving school graduates
- Up to $6,000 tuition reimbursement available for recent truck driving school graduates
- Quarterly performance bonuses after one year of employment
- 6 preferred days off each month
- Detention pay after the second hour
- Paid orientation and training
- Medical, dental and vision insurance plus flexible spending options
- 401(k) savings plan with company match
- Paid vacation time
- Company Facilities Truck drivers have 24-hour access with free and safe parking, showers, Wi-Fi, laundry facilities and cafeteria services.
- Military Apprenticeship Program - U.S. military veterans, Guard members and Reservists may be eligible to earn an additional educational benefit check from the VA (up to $1,236 per month)
Truck Driver Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL drivers license
- Ability to park personal vehicle in Atlanta, GA, Augusta, GA or Savannah, GA
- Hazmat endorsement required after time of hire as a CDL driver
- Tanker endorsement required at time of hire as a CDL driver

driving a tanker fresh out of school is no different than driving a van, reefer
as long as u get the haz & tanker endorsements you are all good
if you don't want to pull chemicals there are companies that pull food grade tankers

It can be done, just have to be patient, I would even apply to the ones that say they don't hire rookies. I graduated truck driving school back in late August and I am now driving a propane tanker, well not quite driving yet as I am waiting to test to be certified by the railroad commission.
