Cooking in your truck?

Going thru orientation and has surprised to learn about the 12v portable lunch box "stoves" some people use to cook with while driving.

Do many people actually cook their meals in their truck?

Is there an area with cooking ideas on this site? You know, recipes, tricks, that sort of thing?

I have heard of wrapping a potato in foil and putting it in a tin can wired to the exhaust manifold to bake. Don't know if I'd do that though........

low carb diet and all you understand!!LOL

I use lighter socket plug in pots and pans as they heat fast and are easy on the batteries.

Has anyone tried the Rocket Grill? Cook in pouches, the grease is seperated...

I use salt and paper towels to dry wash...It's mildly abrasive but if your gently it's OK on non stick material..The big plus is that salt kills the bacteria and prevents more from growing without being too bad for you..Learned it from camping at dry sites..
