It's not like that for our "little box trucks and reefers" (note the sarcastic tone) where we have to pick up during the times you and wife are cozy in your bed snoozing away. Oh, yeah...and the receiver wants his stuff delivered on the opposite side of the clock. Yes, drivers of "little box trucks and reefers" (note sarcasm again) are often exhausted...so much so that all we can think about is that bed...do not pass go, in fact, don't even go...just go to bed...because we operate under chronic jet lag. It would be nice if we could all have a nice set schedule.
And thank you for your empathy. (not!)Lux Prometheus Thanks this. -
TA started selling throw away charcoal grills for $4.99.
I bought me a filet mignon, A1 and some Green Giant steam veggies and potatoes and ate like a big dog tonight.
Best meal I had in awhile!simplyred1962 Thanks this. -

I have seen those. Wondered if they worked very well.
We are fortunate to have a portable propane grill we bought at wally world a few years ago. Legs fold under, and it fits nicely in the side box.
Grilling is hubby's favorite thing to do, and he pulls that thing out as often as possible....at TS, shippers, receivers, rest areas...anyplace where we are gonna be for 2-4 hours. (gotta give the grill time to cool off before storing it away.)
Best $29.99 we ever spent!!

What can't a trucker have in the cab to cook with?
If a cop checks your cab and finds either propane bottles or a can of cooking fuel can you get nailed with a ticket?
Is charcoal the only fuel you can keep in the cab? -

As far as I know, there isn't any rule that says you can't have those small cans of propane for a portable grill.
Maybe someone else knows more?

Its quite legal to have propane cans in your tractor - its considered a tool of the trade.
