If you're testing at Mount Joy Votec, they're pretty nice people there. You should do ok. Just relax, and do what you were taught. Here's a hint. When doing the pre-trip, when you check out the wheels and assemblies, such as suspension and brakes, when you get done with the first wheel, point to the others and say, " I will do the same to that wheel, and that wheel, etc. When I was an instructor at MTA school years ago, that's how we had our students do it, and it was o.k. with the tester. After you say it, ask if he wants you do physically do it. I think with the way it will be raining tomorrow, they'll tell you not to worry about it.
Good luck tomorrow, and remember to brake slowly on the wet roads. We're pulling for you! -
Thank u driver for the info.

The reason people complain about these schools mainly comes down to there attitude going into it .
I didn't even know there was a testing site in Mt. JOY PA and I live like 25 miles from there ... hahaha lol -
Yeah the class was amazing good teachers they do run it like boot camp and if u aint willing to learn they will make ur life a ##### so u throw the towel in. I have no complaints with there school in richmond va cant really speak for the others hahaha. Yeah im from pittsburgh so i had a nice a drive up here today in the dang snow. I heard Tho the mount joy tests are easier the box for tje 45 is wider etc etc idk those are what drivers at the terminal told me could be lieing tho. Ill know trmw at 7am lol

Wow, small world. My step dad was an instructor at Mount Joy VoTech long ago. Welding not trucking. I lived in Willow Street then. I have a niece that lives in Mount Joy.
Just stay calm is the most important thing. Don't curb your tires and watch for them bridge height signs. You'll pass one and then he'll ask you the height. -
Yeah do any one how long they make your road test? Swift while me and my teacher went exploring and drove for 2 hours yeah hes like after 6miles u passed lol i said oh lol
-
Hahaha. Yea don't hit any curbs !!!!
Watch for all signs too. I missed both signs on my road test but I did good enough on the rest to pass .. -
If i may ask how is the point system and what they base off of ?
-
Honestly I can't remember how the point system worked , but my road test was only like 30 to 40 mins long .
