A lot of husband wife "teams" are essentially a super-solo. One runs his max hours as usual, the other runs maybe 3-5 additional hours here and there, to add another 1,000 miles or so to the truck every week. More then solo, but not true team miles.

When he goes to the right seat, he can log two hours of off-duty, but after that he has to log On Duty, not driving.

I always felt more safe strapped into a seat than rolling around a bunk...

Good question.... Im new also...Can a husband and wife work a super solo that allows them maybe four hours a day to be able to crash out together then roll on?

This is how I've always heard it used. Often impling that the husband drives more than 70 hours by running on the wife's logs...

    Thanks guys for the input.

I will be driving my fair share of hours....not gonna dump on hubby. I take pride on showing him that I can be as tough as he is.... and can drive as many hours as he does!

    wd40 Thanks this.

This will depend on the load and the company you drive for. There will likely be times you are both "running and gunning" for days at a time, then other times you are tired of each other's company waiting for loads, or times when you have plenty of hours left before a delivery appointment and can take a break for hours or even days until you get offloaded.
