So, I'm gearing back up to get inschool to get my CDL and I was wondering......I live in GA right now but plan to move out of GA very soon.......should I go to a school in the state I want to move to or should I go to school while I'm here and move later and just switch everything over then?

If you're going to move very soon, just wait. Some states, such as Illinois, make you do everything over again; road test and all. Some make you do the hazmat over again.
-
Ok, I was assuming I should just wait since I wouldn't have a permanent address in that state just wanted some other input

depends on where your planning to move...you want to go to school int he same state you plan to test in. Some staes its easy to just transfer you license, some arnt.
-
I'm thinking of moving to Tennessee or South Carolina maybe even Alabama lol just somewhere out of Georgia
-
The system is setup for portability of your license, with only a couple states where you have to retest (as mentioned the worst is Illinois), pretty much you just transfer it, pay the fees and ... that's it. -
Ok, that's good to know I was trying to make sure it wasn't gonna be a huge pain in the backside lol
