    probably a stupid question and likely discussed elsewhere but anyways, 45k a year ....is this decentfor a new driver below 4 months experience?

    I'd say that's decent. You'll probably work hard for it but I certainly wouldn't be one to complain.

    Either it's a lie, or you're hand unloading freight alley docked in Detroit/Bronx out the side door.

    Plan on 25k to 30k your first yr and not much more after that for at least a couple yrs exp

    850 weekly salary, flatbed dedicated and local work .... not a lie ...just not sure its a good deal, and yes I do work hard for it :)

    Well said, Its not bad here in central texas, But in maryland you could just get by.

    agreed, was really thinking about the cost of living in most places .... north-east ohio is where I come from. was mostly curious about whether this was good starting average or not ... seems pretty decent to me.

    I sure wouldn't do otr for 25-30k a year even if I was a rookie. I started as a student and i made close to 43k in my first full year pulling dry vans.
