Okay, so I am in School right now getting my CDL's. US Express is on top of my list. I was considering team, but kinda nervous about having a partner I didnt know. During School I met someone that is wanting to go to USX so we decided to team up since we get along well. My question is, we llive somewhat close to each other right now. I'm in Centre, AL and he is in Birmingham, AL. My wife and I will most likely be moving to KY after training. This will add to the distance between him and I. Could team driving still work with him with me living 4 hours from him after I move? Thanks for the info!

You might have to split your home times between your locations, which means each of you getting home only half as often.

I was hoping to be able to offer some advice, but my 2nd seat and I haven't taken home time so I can't relate to the issue at hand.

If home time is hard I don't want to do it. I don't mind being out for 2 weeks. But anymore than that I don't want. My kids would forget me. Lol.

I figured if Roehl does it, surely more companies do.

    Speaking of TEAM drivers.............

Many Moons ago, I was in New Castle Delaware picking up a load of refractories near the port....

Im backed in the Dock, Waiting at the rear of my trailer to watch the forklift driver go in and out...

I had to use the Potty...I asked the man driving the forklift to direct me to the bathroom.......He pointed to his right and said.."Its right through a set of doors.....

I said "Cool,I'll be right back" As I entered the door..I had to go about 50 feet to enter another door to get to the urinals.....Now between the 2 doors are the showers..(Which were being used by a handful of workers at that time).....No Biggie..

I did my business..Then returned to the Dock area.......Not more than 2 minutes go by and a Schneider national truck pulls up..

Out come a man and women(Assume husband/wife team)......They musta had ants in their Pants cause they came running to check in.......

Next thing you know..Im confronted by this lady....She says "Wheres the bathroom" In a tone only heard at Last Call at 3am at Dudley's Saloon

I just about fell backwards.......Then,In a quick response I said...." Ma'am,It's through that door right there"

It was a matter of seconds before I heard a Bunch of Black Guys Screaming Bloody Murder

My Knees grew weak as I fell to the Floor
