I heard a couple of the best are TMC and Crete that pay good for starting. I don't think Crete hires 21 year olds and TMC doesn't. They pay 34-35 cents per mile starting and after 2 years it goes up to 42 cents which is really good. For starting.
Is there any others like this with good reviews that pay that good but hire 21 year olds? I will keep searching but its hard to find the requirements and pay, I will have to start calling these places but if anyone has anything they know please share. Thank you!
Highest paying companies that hire recent grads that are 21 years old.

Agreed - it annoys me to read "competitive pay scale" instead of a plain English spread sheet.
Also the ones that have "up to XXX cpm" - that involve a whole bunch of hoops to jump through.
Update your location - it helps people suggest companies that hire in your area. -
and what's wrong with the companies that hire grads at 22 cents?
Chinatown Thanks this. -

and now I think he's just trying to go after people just because they have money. why cant he just stay with the company he's with now since obviously they want to hire him and stick with them a year -
Have ya checked Prime Inc? Their pay seemed pretty decent, not sure if they hire 21yo

Rephrase your question. Find a decent company (plenty freight, solid trucks) that will hire a 21 year old. Truck for 2 years, get two years solid experience, clean record, THEN aim high.
HauntedSchizo19 and maxwelltie Thank this. -
Melton Truck Lines hires 21 yr. olds and it's an excellent company.
Check Schneider Bulk division.
Decker Truck Line
System Transport
Plenty of others.Bella21 Thanks this. -
There's nothing wrong with companies that start grads at .22 cents. A new driver can do better if he has all the endorsements and uses them right out of CDL school though, such as hazmat/tanker or maybe an LTL pulling doubles. That .22 cpm is just part of the equation when you ad in assessorial pays. I don't know of any company that starts new CDL grads at the top seniority pay scale.
