Best time of year to train?

As I begin to make my plans, I have some choices. If I really work hard I could fast track my finances and be ready by spring next year. But if I do that I'll miss my gardening. If I wait I can put my garden in and set it up with landscape clothes to keep out the weeds and then my husband will put the water on a timer so I'll just feed the garden and putter the 3-4 days I'm home each month.

If I wait until the end of the summer season I would be taking my schooling in October and out with a trainer at the beginning of the winter months.

Would it be better to train in the winter with someone there to help me? Or would it be better to train at the tail end of the next winter so that I am more experienced before I have to drive in adverse conditions? If I do that though I wouldn't have any practical training in the ice or snow.

Should I do my school in Nov. so that my training will definitely hit during the winter months? Or would I just be begging to get into an incident or accident ending my career before it starts?

I learned to drive in the winter months and it didn't kill me. You won't be rolling in terrible icy conditions or deep snow so its not a problem. However the summer months are more stress free since there is no threat of a bad snow storm to distract you. Really doesn't have a significant effect, do whats best for your life at this time.

Yeah, there is no real 'best' time, I got my CDL early in the year ( a while back) adn started with my trainer in april, by the time winter rolled around I had been in my truck long enough that I was confident in my abilities.

Well then I will just keep plugging away on my bills and see what happens.

Thanks
