I made my first run last week, from Vancouver, WA to CT, MA and back to Vancouver. We went through OR,ID,UT,WY,NE,IA, so on and so forth. Now after going through UT and right before getting to the port of entry for WY i started feeling really dizzy at one point like i was floating. Now that im back home, the slight dizziness has not gone away. Has anyone else experienced this? If so how long does it last. I've been back to the west coast now for 3 days.

Many things can cause dizziness. I would go see a doc asap. Good chance it may be anxiety. Do not tell your company yet. If necessary come up with a bs need for a short leave of absence. Obviously the dizziness must be diagnosed and controlled for you to continue in this safety sensitive industry. Some medications for various causes of dizziness will not be DOT approved. Make sure you tell the doc you are a driver.
PE_T Thanks this. -
You keeping hydrated?
-
If you are thinking it may be altitude related, you need to tell the doc that as well. Highly doubtful but remotely possible.
-
Sounds like you may be a team driver. Sleep deprivation could also be a possibility. Blood pressure, sugar levels, dehydration, ect.........This is why you need to see a doc. Way too many possible causes....All we can do is guess...

I think its more anxiety and sleep dep, I'm Fine now as far as the anxiety portion goes. I wonder if this feeling just lingers for a few days after the anxiety is gone.
Thankyou for the replies!!! -
Get to a doctor quickly is good advice. See if you can have that Raiders patch removed.

Who are the Chefs.. i mean Cheifs? Never heard of that team.
honestly i appreciate the concern. The dizziness is not constant and not very severe at all, i understand that the doctors is the best idea but im not losing balance or anything that severe. But ill make a visit today if i can get in.
To describe it, every so often i get that weird jolty type feeling you get when you have the flu?? does that make any sense? -
I dont drink coffee anymore but when I did which was only for a few years it didnt go well with me and I would experience dizzieness and sometimes unable to concentrate.

See a doctor. Eat regularly. Get some rest. You may have low blood sugar (could be diabetes). But who knows . See a doctor.
NoCoCraig Thanks this.
