I live in Iowa and due to my wifes job i will be moving to florida in a few months. I currently work for a company in iowa but does anyone know of any carriers that would start me out in iowa and let me move to florida? I am currently doing flatbed but would consider anything. I have tanker, hazmat, passport.?? Thanks

Where in Florida are you moving? How much experience do you have? My company is probably exactly what you are looking for if you move close enough to the terminal.

Check out my Heyl thread. Florida terminal is in West Central Florida (Zephyrhills). Parent terminal is in Akron, Iowa. I am not good with doing links. Just put Heyl in the search bar at the upper left and you'll find it.

Crete has a terminal in Council Bluffs, IA and in Deland, FL. Talk to them. There is also a tanker company out of Florida, Indian River Transport that runs 48 so you might check with them.

I've looked into heyl they sound like a good company, but too large for my liking.
Indian river is good from what I've heard. If your flatbed check out melton, cypress, or Roehl

Walbon has a terminal in Florida, and another in Minnesota. From what I hear the mainly run from Florida to mn, and back.

Last I heard (3 mos ago), Roehl was not hiring from FL. My guess is not enough freight to make some of their home time options viable. But you can always call and ask.
