Who was at fault?
-
I suppose if the other driver was at fault then you will have to sue for damages. Good luck with that.

Regardless of citations you should have gotten an incident report or something from the state trooper. If the other person was at fault you have their name and info correct?Call your insurance company and see how they want you to proceed.Call your company and let them know.
The trooper should have been told the other driver didn't have insurance as you should have exchanged info with him there.I'm pretty sure a citation should have been issued for not having insurance on their vehicle. If you failed to get their info and no report was made then you are probably SOL. -
Let your company know what happened, and let them fight it out with their own insurance company. Who will likely then go after the uninsured motorist. Hope you got pictures, and have the case number of the accident, the agency that made the report, and the name of the trooper, (which will be in the report.) Your company, or at least the insurance company will want a copy of that report.

All that was given to me was a peice of paper with both or info. I asked the trooper if I would be handed a citation or warning he said no. She got a citation for not having insurance. The report will be available in 5-7 days.
Forget it. I was in a one lane yield. No one was in front of me. I yielded to the traffic and I then proceeded to check the left lane for on coming traffic. I was 3/4 through the yield and turning right, I glanced into my right mirror no body was there. I was just about done with the turn when I felt a bump. At first I thought that I was rear ended. After getting out the trailer skirt was damaged from the back 3 ft to the first trailer tandem tire. From my point of view the car tried to get around me and then hit me. My tandem tire hit her back tail light. And the side of her car from the passenger door on the drivers side back was white from the skirt. The trooper asked what happened and she told her story but then he said but from the looks of where the damage is you look like you were trying to illeagle get around the truck. I then was asked to go to my truck because she was getting up set about what he was saying. The trooper after 40 minutes came up and that's when I asked if I would receive a citation or warning. He said no she is for no insurance.
i took pictures with an accident package given to me from the company and also a statement over the phone along with a written one as well. I will be mailing a copy of them and the paper work from the trooper. On the paper work it clearly states that it's "unknown" what kind of policy she has for insurance.
im kinda of worried because this some how will be a violation or a unavoidable violation I'm already on thin ice for moving violations and don't want to be fired. With that being said for all you new drivers I'm also glad I have open road that provides lawyers if need be. Seriously if you have the chance to get it take it it's like 7 bucks per pay check. #### happens out here and I've only been in it for 10 months.Big Don Thanks this. -
If the other party was at fault then obviously they should pay however with no insurance I doubt they have any money....with that being said do you carry Uninsured / Underinsured Motorist coverage on your policy. Every year I check the box to carry that coverage in the amount of $75,000. Cost me $47 for it to be on the policy this year with Great West and Northland was always a similar amount as well. Should you have that coverage use it....how much damage are we talking here? Depending on amount look into filing a Physical Damage claim if it is worth it, exceeding the deductible, etc...

OK, looks like you have done everything right, I wouldn't worry about it.

Guys I'm not an owner OP the vehicle is fully insured through the company.
Big Don Thanks this.
