I saw an advertisement for a trucking company offering 7 days on and 7 days off rotation. It sounded like an intriguing opportunity, almost like a fireman, 4 days on 3 days off. Has anyone had any experience with this type of schedule and company and do many trucking companies offer this type of schedule?

I do know that Roehl has this schedule.

Not many do. You'll be "slip seating" a truck with another person, so it won't be "your truck".
Also, you'll be making half the money that a full time driver does. -
That's the catch. 1/2 the money and sharing a truck. I was wondering if it was like a teaching job where you work 9 months and get paid for twelve. I figured there must be a catch (1/2 the money) or an extreme hardship (if they paid you full time for 1/2 the work). Thanks.

This is for people who need less money and want to be home more. I know Roehl does it out of their Atlanta terminal. Also, you drive your car there, drive your 7 days, then leave truck there and drive home.
They also have a 14 on 7 off, and a 7 on, 3 off, 7 on 4 off. -
That would be AWESOME!!!!!
Can I still bring home 80k ?? -

I think Roehl, Knight, and maybe CRST have a program like that

I'd rather clean toilets.
Same pay, home every night.
