I've heard the horror stories and read all the old reviews. Wondering if anyone currently works there or knows anything about the company now. Starting orientation this coming Tuesday and would love a heads up...

Understood....wish I could be more helpful in that area. I think they run International , and Freight-liner power units though , and the miles should be be in the 5 to 6k per trip if they are running to the west coast I would assume....I'm sure they'll cover that other stuff once you get there , but I would carry enough clothes for at the very least a weeks worth of changes , along with a pair of shower shoes and a shaving kit with tooth paste , soap , razor , etc....
jhorrice Thanks this. -
I have seen there equipment on the west coast they have good well maintained trucks drivers seemed happy said they just working there way back up so just make the best of it.

I was just wondering how the orientation went at Carolina Cargo? The threads I've read here from the drivers going to CC seem not to respond much after, that is very strange. I'm thinking of going there to get about two months of OTR experience, my background is not the best so I gotta do what I gotta do for my children. Any response would be appreciated.

Ive been there for almost three months now and i dont have a single good thing to say. Well besides the fact that ive actually been in the trucking world a bit. If you have any other options you should definitely take it. You dont make any money, the equipment is horrible and dispatch is a joke. This is my last week. Would not do it again with the knowledge i have on this company now

If you've been there that long, you might be the terminal manager by now! LOL!!! Just kidding, did you get another job? You have 3 months OTR experience, who much can I make per week?
Thanks for your response jhorrice
