Okay so here is the deal... I have been the main care giver for my daughter for the past 20 years while my husband worked or went to school. The company I have agreed with wants three years past employment so what do I do in this case? I have letters from doctors, ssi, counselors and schools that show I was her caregiver. HELP needed ASAP!!

I agree with the other person, just submit the paperwork and go from there..Being a caretaker is a Job...

Yes but I was never actually paid for it. That is the question they asked.

I just wanted to make sure that they wouldnt want to see a paystub or something

I don't ever remember having prior employment being a required qualification? The rule is the COMPANY is required to check three years work history---and seven years more than that IF trucking was involved. If there is NO prior employment, then the documents you have to supply should suffice.
If you have no W-2's, 1099's, logbook pages, Unemployment, or other documentation....then companies normally ask for letters from people that know you. But if you have proof that your daughter (and yourself) received Social Security, and you are primary care-giver---that should be enough. They just need to know what you've been doing for 3 years...it is required by law for them to check.
