    Hi guys, I'm back with more questions, concerns, and request for opinions.
    I'm writing to ask for the opinions of those who have done what I'm trying to already or those who are thinking about doing what I'm about to do. Basically I was informed about the "wia" program offered by workone. I've done everything, but a couple last steps to possibly get the grant money. However, they only pay up to 3k for your training and although that's great nowadays most places like truck driving school, colleges, etc all have the tuition of 5-6k meaning I'd have to come up with the rest or attend a school (I.e roadmaster, tdi, c1, etc..) and get some type of loan offered by the program and in turn only have to pay the school 2500-3000 back or less because the company I'm thinking about offers tuition reinbursement up to 6k (150.00/month) for a years contract or whatever. I guess what I'm asking is should I go through with workone or just go to a truck driving school.

    A little about me: I'm 21 years old female. Reside in indianapolis, IN Assistant manager at a rent to own company. No kids, no family here. No nothing. I'm looking to run teams, rum hard, run strong, run safe and I want to make great money in my first year, learn the ropes and give whichever company I choose my all. I was interested in schneider bulk because I've had interested in hauling something so sensitive, but I'm not sure. If you gave any information about the "wia" act please help me. I'm so stuck as to what I should do....

    Sorry about the spelling or grammer issues. I'm writing this from my phone.

    blairandgretchen Thanks this.

    If you are interested in Schneider why don't you just try to go through their school instead of dealing with the WIA grant?

    [h=2]C. R. England[/h]
    • C. R. England is a truck driving company that hires drivers without experience. Those who wish to apply to this company can do so on its website. Once C. R. England makes the decision to hire, the company will send you to one of its three schools located in Mira Loma, California; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Burns Harbor, Indiana.
      You will have the best chance of acceptance if you have a clean driving record for the last 3 years. Medical conditions such as issues with the heart, diabetes, and blood pressure are scrutinized closely. If any of these red flags pops up, you still may have a chance, but it's best to remain realistic in your hiring expectations.

    Still my belief that Conway Truckload through the 5 week course at Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri is as good a deal as can be found. PM Roadrealtor. He went through that program and I believe it cost a little less than 3k. Covered room and board, meals, training, ect.......After you pull your FIRST load for Conway, all of Conway's contributions towards your training are forgiven. No long term commitments.
