I've always had an RM 5", so I can't comment on the others.

The Rand is usually pretty good, but it does not always choose the same route as I'm sent by the company.
It has an annoying tendency to route me strange ways to some truck stops because it doesn't seem to know that I can turn left into the truck stop.
The ETA times are pretty accurate, and the destination time zone is used.
It is good for recalculating a route if I miss a turn or decide to go another way, usually. Sometimes it will try to put me on a road that is just crazy impossible for a big truck, simply because there are no restrictions on the road.

It can not be relied upon 100%, and I think the same can be said for any GPS.

I've had better directions from my "Navigator" program in my phone than the Rand McNally 720. I may not know how to use all the options in this GPS. I have only used this gps for 2 months. I have noticed that if you travel many two lane roads Rand doesn't have all of them updated. Example highway 67 from southern Missouri into Northern Arkansas. It is a 4 lane road and has been for a couple years. Rand doesn't even have the road where it is and still has it as a 2 lane. Same with highway 26 in southern Wisconsin. Just a couple examples. I will never buy another Rand.

Bottom line: They're all about the same. There are a few differences in features, and the user interfaces are different, but they all work pretty much the same.

If you have a Garmin in your car, use a Garmin Dezl in your truck. You already know how to run it.

If you run a TomTom in your car, and you're not British, then anything is an improvement... :p
