That's the minimum that I take home after taxes, insurance and 401(k) deductions.

Cowan Systems out of Baltimore pays $.52 cpm for anywhere from 2000-2500 miles per week, depending on how hard you get after it. You go home every weekend and they don't micromanage your fuel stops...can fuel every evening to get your free shower at Pilot or Flying J

However, be warned. They are not flexible on a few things. You park the truck at your home terminal when you go home no ifs, ands, or buts.

Also they will fire you for "falsifying your application" if you don't list every single traffic incident on your application no matter how minor it was or even if you genuinely forgot. If they find out about it later, the safety department will send you packing even after you've been out there working for them. Sounds obvious but in reality ive never come across a company who takes that hard of a line...borderline witch hunting, Nazi territory IMO but small wonder why they've had to resort to doling out sign on bonuses to get new butts in the seat.

Just watch yourself with a few things if you decide to give them a try.
