Hope you got all the endorsements; they're worth lots of money.

    Trimac Transportation
    Tidewater Transit
    Schneider Bulk
    Superior Carriers
    Dutch Maid in Willard, OH
    UPS Freight(not household delivery)
    FedEx Freight
    ABF Freight
    Pride Transport
    Melton Truck Lines
    NTB Trucking
    Navajo Express
    Decker Truck Line
    Cargo Transporters

All these companies hire new CDL grads, even if the website has different.
    Don't wait, submit applications now.

Stevens .26 CPM, Werner is close to that as well so definitely NO to them.
None you posted are good, probably Roehl of those would be your best option.

Prime, Maverick and Crete hire in your area.. they pay better than those others companies you posted.

Yes and ABF hires noobs too

If you can get into LTL right away go for it.
Would probably earn double by one of them their first year compared to if they chose Werner or Stevens instead.

Chinatown gave you some good leads. Definitely look at ABF they will send you to their finishing school and you will make a heck of a lot more money than those gypsie outfits you listed. I have a friend who works at Dutch Maid at the Willard Oh facility and he really enjoys the job. He works in the yard. I work for UPS Parcel and right now the Freight side does want at least one year of experience when I talked to a driver in Akron. Did you happen to look at Valley Transportation in Ashland? Its a decent starter company as well. YRC in Richfield, OH is hiring noobies out of school as well for city P&D and line haul. There is a large FedEx freight terminal in Richfield Oh that is hiring Driver Apprentices as well. Conway Freight over in Parma is looking for new drivers ($19.60 ph to start). At Valley you get home on weekends. In line haul companies you will be out for two days usually then dispatched home. If they bed you for three days in a row your paid an additional 8 hours of pay. OD pays well and another line haul company to look at is SAIA. Not sure about there experience requirements but give them a shot as well. Good luck you got into this profession at a very good time.

If you don't have your HAZMAT/Double and Triples, Tanker Endorsements you are just wasting your time. Those endorsements are your ticket to a stable future in the profession. This is what all the LTL carriers want you to have. Tanker is a new requirement for LTL companies as well so don't overlook that endorsement. Best of all its probably the easiest to obtain.

Last I checked ABF hires noobs at .40 CPM their first year but still get good benefits. Top rate in 3 years.
They'll even hire you without a CDL.. go on their site and look up "road driver school".

If it was me that's what I'd do.
forget that werner garbage pay and sitting around bs

get your experience maybe 2 years dosent really matter where because no matter what otr company you go for their gonna suck. Once you get your experience if your young like under 25 get into a union ltl carrier the reason I say that is because you can work 30 years and retire with a full pension I have been a driver for a long time and it kills your body when you are in your 40s your physically shot so the thing is plan a future because you dont want to do this job forever wish I wwould have not made the mistake of working otr so long and it isnt the healthiest of lifestyles
