    I am 24yrs old and I wana take my wife with me. I live in Tulare CA. All Trucking companies want Work History but i have never worked. I would like to go OTR for my first year. I want a good company not those companies that keep you broke all the time.

    No I Graduated in 2009 and l went collge then moved with my brother and never worked never paid rent.

    OK - during the training period your wife will probably need to be at home, they'll be just you and the trainer in the truck.

    Good idea getting your own training too.

    Have the recruiters come knocking at your class yet?

    The school want us ti go with Covanent because Covanent cuts then in. And werner and swift went those are the only 3 recruiter that have went.

    I just dont want to go jump into a company were i have no info nor comments from experince truckers. I hear really bad things about swift and wernerner but idk if its just their own experience or if its everybodys experience. I heard $23-28k from truckers but recruiters say around $35K
