typically it's 10 years on a dui. typically. a select few only go back 5 or 7 years.
typically it's 3 years for most other things. for insurance purposes. that 8 speeding may or may not hurt you. as long as it's the only ticket in 3 years. might want to wait till that seatbelt has passed the 3 year mark.NH4life and Tonythetruckerdude Thank this. -

Better come up with a good answer if a company asks you to "Explain about your pattern of speeding."

Speeding, no seat belt, drinking/driving. Bad news trying to get hired.

I do want to add though that I have perfect work history(same company for 11 years) and perfect credit(not sure if that even matters) -

That doesn't mean much and here's why; most of those companies are probably crappy companies where you'll probably take home less than $500 a week after taxes and kept on the road for months at a time. Not worth it and if you think it is, I'd suggest checking with the local supermarket. You can probably bag groceries for more than that and be home everyday. One more thing about your driving history, if you can't keep a clean record in a car you will never stay our of trouble in a truck. It's extremely difficult to not get into trouble in a truck and if you accumulate even one speeding ticket you may make yourself ineligible for employment at certain companies. I'd suggest a different career. -
I think with your record it will raise a few eyebrows.Every company does not pre qualify you.Your mvr needs to pass the safety dept and the insurance company. But some may pre qualify you which I would deffinately bring that up with your recruiter before she sets up orientation. Also look on their website what their qualifications are.
