of course, I am looking for the route with the least amount of hills. Pulling hazmat, so no tunnels. What say ye?

    Actually its I 81, I 40, I 640, I 40 since you have a Hazmat load. Hazmat is prohibited on I 40 through downtown Knoxville

Yep, that's the way I run it; I-81 to I-40 to I-640 in Knoxville then back on I-40. Only one strong pull in Tennessee & that's just west of Knoxville. You can bypass Nashville on I-840.

83-95-10-55 is fairly hill free if you've got time to kill.

:biggrin_25513: At the first fuel stop, go in and buy a Rand McNally Motor Carriers Atlas. You will find a wealth of info in there, and MAPS, too.

    ncmickey Thanks this.
