New driver here looking to get in with a new company. I heard Sysco and Conway freight paid well but I believe they need guys with minimum 1-2 year experience. Anyone know of any companies that will hire new guys with good starting pay? Im currently making $16 an hour at my job but getting my license soon and will start looking.
My company used to allow plenty of overtime but they cut down to no overtime so Im really not making as much anymore and need to make more now.
What's a good company to work for in Los Angeles/Orange county?

Sysco and Conway both hire new CDL grads.
Ignore "experience required" on any trucking website and apply anyway.
Do the online application before any phone calls.
Sysco, Reddaway, Old Dominion have terminals in your area, so walk in and ask for an application. They decide within each terminal if they need drivers or not.
Also try:
Old Dominion
KKW Trucking
Reddaway
Gardner Trucking
TWT Refrigerated Services
Several good OTR companies if you want coast to coast.herring22 Thanks this. -

GSF is after you get some seniority in , but that would mean a few months to a couple years. You would however be home most every night.
