    Hi everyone,

I do not wish to assume anything, so here goes my questions !

    1) How many different licenses or endorsements can i get for the trucking industry

    2) Which ones are the most important ones

    3) How important is it to get as many endorsements as possible from the beginning

    4) Are there separate exams for each endorsements

you can only have 1 license, I know it confused me at first too

I got my T and X, people refuse to get their X/H, for some reason

its cheaper to get them all at first so that you don't have to keep buying more, and in many states they mail you your license, so I Want them all printed now so I can use it

You will have one CDL license & the endorsements will be coded on that license.
Endorsements, TWIC, passport are money in the bank; get them all.

I have a question about TWIC, and this question is for future askers

I applied for a TWIC back in April and bought one, but I have yet to be told if I got one or not, how do you know?

Get your CDL. That's all you need to drive. The other endorsements give you opportunities to get some loads. I had Hazmat for 2 years. Didn't really give me any more work. But I did make more money hauling those HM loads.
Unless you focus on using those endorsements they aren't worth getting. my opinion.

I have HazMat, I think that's a good enough reason to get it

Where you applied for the TWIC will call you to come and get it. I had to go the office where it was issued and pick it up in person.

There are separate exams for each endorsement.I have hazmat and tankers.Hazmat is the hardest and the most longest to study.Tanks I read the chapter in the cdl manual only once and passed.Endorsements are'nt of any importance unless you wanna drive for a company that requires it,most do not.

I didn't get my endorsements for the money, I did it for the job offers

Get your endorsements for additional job offers. I have them all and the company paid for them as a reimbursement if I pass the test so I have tankers and doubles and hazmat too
