I can't understand your situation. Your right hand can't operate the shifter while you push in clutch with left foot? Is this a problem for all left handed people? I am considered left handed because I write with my left hand but use my right arm for everything else. I just think you can train yourself.

    I'm left handed.
    I can shift just fine.

Should be easy to learn if you try.
It's not like writing. Don't really have to be that precise with the shifter.

Just sit and shift it from the shotgun seat. Problem solved. :biggrin_25525:

Seriously, our bodies and brains can adjust to opposite side actions with enough repetitive practice.
I know it may seem impossible and overwhelmingly "un-normal" initially, but with enough practice it will become easier.

I was born and raised in the UK where we drive on the left, or as you deftly call it...the "wrong side"
Thus the steering wheel is on the right and I had to change gear with my left hand......but I'm right handed.
So I don't understand your rationale.
You will get used to it, you just need to practice.
BTW the UK is one of the only countries that drive on the left. Most of Europe drives on the right.
When I came to this country I had hardly driven on the right, but to me it was a piece of cake to switch. Now I'm more used to driving on the right,
but it is never a problem to switch back when I go home to visit.
It's all in the mind. No such thing as can't.
    Good luck

    Did a quick Google search.
You really think they will make a Truck for 10% not counting the fact that many left handed drivers shift fine with the right?

Besides don't even think it would be practical with a standard shifter anyway.

    1. Left-handedness is less common than right-handedness. Left-handed people are more skillful with their left hands when performing tasks. Studies suggest that approximately 10% of the world population is left-handed. Mixed-handedness is the change of hand preference between tasks.

I am beginning to think that Lessmanly mcmanly is in all actuality missmanly and strives hard for something, anything,to whine about.come on man,er miss, just drive already.you shall be fine in the long run provided that you get to driving that automatical shifting right lane runner.

i'll be the first to help you slide the tandems if they aren't autosliders too.push button everything and you still raise cane. i don't get it man,i mean miss.
