Hi everyone just want an opinion between both. anyways pretty soon will turn 21 and kind of narrowed down between the two, i would much rather go with millis but knight has a few things i like, such as paid training and more convient . i live outside of chicago in the suburbs knight has a terminal 40 mins away from me and there cdl school in indiana is a little less than an hour from where my brother lives could stay with him. i heard much better things about millis but upfront cost is the problem and there terminal is almost 2 hours away.

Sounds like Knight for you. Only 40mins away? Trust me, a 2hr commute home will be annoying after driving a truck all day..

I don't know about Millis but if they're better like tow614 says then choose them. Haven't heard good things about Knight, plus they're a mega.

I worked for Millis about 18 mo. I ran regional, truck came home with me every weekend(truck stop) and a couple of times during the week. Good people there,I felt I was treated well. For starting out I'm sure theres not too much better as far as training/starter companies go.

I'd choose none of the above.
With being near Chicago you'd have many many options.

I never worked for either but from everything I've always heard,

    Millis, without a doubt!
