Dunno if this is the right place to ask but I'm curious.
My experience with recruiters has been lies.. after lies........ after lies!
Just wondering, what's their incentive to BS drivers soo much so they'd join?

My company pays drivers 2000 if you poach an experienced driver.

750 after they pull the first load.

Some drivers will bs you as much as company recruiters.

    Just consider your source.

It would be nice to know how exactly the office folks get paid though. The exact breakdown. Perhaps time for a covert after 5 pm mission. ;)

LOL! Funny, the ones I saw years ago were obvious former military recruiters...(Probably really used to lying to people) I do remember the question being asked by drivers, "Do we get to pick our own trucks, and have our names on the door"? The recruiter responded, "The Marine in the back can...*battle cry sound*

LOL! Made me seriously almost spit up my coffee that I was currently drinking.

A bad one will lie ... good one will tell you enough to let you fill in the blanks yourself with what you want to hear/believe.

The Industry needs "Head-Hunters"someone who is an "Expert" at knowing about many companies and the Driving jobs they have. An independent, not paid by companies.

I was in a place, a few months back, whare I would have been willing to pay someone money for a referral to the best companies in my segment.

    No such expert/service presently exists.

Do you really think people would be willing to pay for such a service, especially since much of today's attitude seems to revolve around a "I deserve to get this free" mentality. If people would actually pay for that service, I would imagine a creative person would already have that business going... but maybe it really is an upcoming opportunity for someone.
