Just passed my hazmat & doubles/triples endorsement. Looking to get a twic card also. Has anyone ever needed to apply for a waiver or appeal. I have felony on my record that would disqualify me. just wondering how it works and if anyone was successful in doing so. Thanks in advance

Just type this into Google "twic card felony"

Depending on your felony you may be able to get a waiver.

I fall in the category of drugs. And it hasn't been 5 or 7 yrs yet. Regardless I'm going to apply. Just wanted to see what to do if I have to apply for a waiver.

Be warned, a lot of companies will do a "per-hire" without any background check, once there, they will then send you home, what company gave you a pre-hire?

We all screw up...keep pushing....I made my mistakes for sure and had been rejected a few times more then I care to remember. I've been running for 10 years with mistakes on my record...

That's true but in this case I put it all on the table on my application. Spoke with other drivers here and they said with Trans am they check your background before pre hires. I'm not concerned at all.
