Can anyone let me know if there is a decent refrigerator that will work on a 2012 cascadia with just a 12v.

Yea, you can order one through Freightliner..$$$$
Or go to a camping/ Rv dealer and see what they have.
We run an invertor in our trk. and bought a small fridge at Walmart. spent like 130.00 for it.. -
Thanks for reply. Just starting out with the Pumpkins, and stuck with using 12v and a maximum 180w inverter.

I had a fridge/ freezer setup years ago I bought from another driver, it ran on 12 volt.
Can't remember the name of it, but he said it was bought at an RV dealer. I liked it and was less drain on the battery verses the Igloo or Coleman coolers they sell in the trk. stops. -
Look up waeco for 12v fridges for trucks
-
if hes just starting with the pumpkin, I doubt hes got the bucks for the waeco and the like.
tsavory Thanks this. -
I need to stop off and get a new one mine went out been lazy

Koolatron is a good brand if you want to buy a cooler or refrigerator. Less draw than a Coleman and very reliable. I've had the Funcool over a year (cooler only) and it's going strong. I've checked out their refrigerator, which is about $200, but it wasn't going to fit in my T680.

Google 12 volt refrigerator. I do not like my truckfridge chest model. Next time I'll bite the bullet & buy an Engel.

Cooler is prolly best bet with cigerette lighter. I don't think the cigeratte plug can handle the amps of a fridge. Direct writing to battery is a no no with sni.
