So NY has shut down the I-87 from NJ/NY boarder up to Albany. Also shut down I-84 PA/NY boarder all the way to Connecticut. I live in wester western MA so my first route was going to be 78 or whatever out of Pa to 287, 287 to 87. But that's out of the question. I was thinking 287 to 684 and then hop on 84 for it looks to be like 20 miles or less but I guess that's out of the question as well. Sucks so bad I just want to get home!!!!!

So I'm asking, what would you do. 287 to 95 to 91 to 90 to Lee, MA and then up cause I'm figuring the roads will be crap might as well stay on the interstates....oh yea I'll be empty greaaaaaaaat

Never mind it looks like that stretch of 84 from 684 would be like 5 miles tops to the CT line.

Ok jus double checked ###### NY IS closing 84 to comm vehicles at 7am(azzhats) but the only ban that n thruway 87/90 is long doubles....so you could still go up 87-90 into w. Mass.....not sure where your at in pa....but could always do 81/88...2 Albany then across.....
while I might understand NYS reason for 84...w/hill at state line....that gotta know they r forcing the 12bazillion nightly freighthaulers outta central pa into NE....down thru the City&95 on thanksgiving eve.....goin to be a disaster

Ok. Yea it says long tandem vehicles so is that like turn like doubles and doubles combinations. I'm going to post the link hopefully TR understands I need to know. I'm 5 hours from my drop in Bethlehem, PA then I want to go 287 87 90 then up to the north west corner of MA. Are you -00% sure I would hate to get a fine lol.

According to NYS state 511 link of dot webpage 84 no cmv......87/90 NYS Thruway No long doubles.......and like I posted b4....If you're concerned you might get burned when you leave.....you Can run up 33 to 80...80w to 380n to 81n into my...to 88 to 90....& that way no tolls till Mass......

BUT also understand that as the storm worsens.....Anything is liable to happen...and take it from someone NOW LOCAL to NE PA.......

Thanksgiving eve....with Good wx.....the ENTIRE NE is Gridlocked...in All directions.....typically By noon or so the Entire Lehigh Valley is at a Crawl......

    RogerThat72 Thanks this.
