I started out with CR England because all the "Good" starting companies rejected me. No one has a redder flag than CRE but it worked out fine for me, nothing to complain about really except for low pay.

Stayed with them for only 6 months, after that nearly everyone I called was begging me to drive for them, what a switch in such a short time. I got to choose the perfect company and am netting around a thousand a week.

    Go ahead and take PTL!

If you still have not gotten a job, your time clock is ticking as to who WILL take you. Many companies, I think Roehl (sp?) is one of them, past 60 days of no job, they make you go back to school before they accept you. Now I too have heard of the PTL as not being a very good company, but go for it anyways. At least it's a start, which YOU need. Then try your very best to put in a full year of all season driving. Some people will talk bad about a company, maybe it's due to sour grapes, then some talk bad only because of what they 'heard" but never experienced themselves, and very often than not, over-embellish the stories.

If PTL was so bad, why are there still people working there, and for a long time? Get in with them ASAP, do your job, never cause or become a problem, and hey, you know what, you may stay longer than that 1 year. Usually the first 6 months to a year are tough months, many times you are being tested as to what you can handle. The road is a tough lifestyle at times. Get through the "testing" they put you through and drive safely, rack up the miles, and who knows, you may make more money over the cry babies.

Very best of luck to you.
