Look at the top of the screen. Next to "Forum", you'll see "CDL PRACTICE TEST".

    Have at it!

I don;t know where in the Wolverine you are but have you looked into local community colleges/vocational schools that offer CDL traing? They usually are far cheaper than commercial schools and sometimes you can get a grant to offset the cost. As said above, better to go for a class A. You have better options and more opportunities if you can get a class a with all of the endorsements.

x2. If something happens to the gig that you just need the Class B for, you'll be limiting your options.

I agree with Chinatown. If you are going for it, better to get the A and be done with it. You never know what the future holds.

I am with the others go for the class A.
You can drive a class B with the class A but can't drive a class A with the class B.

That comes from some one who had a class B for 30 years and just up graded to the class A with all endorsements.
Because of a medical waiver and have to stay instate for next 3 years I am driving an oil truck for now using my HAZMAT, TWIC card & tanker.

It is ONLY a problem with either truck if you DON'T drive with your head. Again if you get the class A you can drive a class B truck and you have only spent money 1 time for the CDL license.

I needed my class B for the job I had at the time for that 1 year. I did not need or use my CDL till now and why I went to school for my class A.
Knowing what I know now and if I could have I would have gone for my class A back then.
As they say it is your life do as you need to do.

Some guys are perfectly happy having just the class B. Nothing wrong with that at all. I got my class B at 21.
I didn't want my class A at that age. After a few years I decided I wanted my class A and my employer paid for me to get it
