Ok, drove in the ez pass express lane today nd got ticketed . The officer told me that only 2 axel vehicles were aloud on this road , he told me the ticket doesn't affect my csa or points on my license because it's just a FINE is this true ?

If so ,how doesn't it affect my license and should I inform my company

Pay attention to the signs. It's most likely a "failure to follow traffic control" blah blah blah. Watch the signs from now on. You were guilty. Pay. Lesson learned.

Jesus Christ... only thing that affects your CSA is an inspection (if there's anything wrong).

If you get inspected and its good you still get a CSA score it will be low tho. And all major traffic violations will give you quite the number., specially sitbelt ticket.

I got wacked by DOT for 11 miles over in a 35 mph zone. They did the biz. Felt like I was a sting target. I hate going through that. Not to spit on them though they gave ME a break got a light fine no points. COOL. They wrote up my trailer one rear signal had blown. Went to court you know the routine paid the fine and begged for mercy. I got it. No show for it on my DVR. But this thread got me thinking. Where do I find out if this has affected my CSA?

Always check your csa score nd don't listen to the ones that telling you no inspection no csa points. Rear signal had blown that's a violation with points.

Then your driver lied to you. The only way the FMCSA sees anything is if it comes in on an inspection or a DOT reportable accident report. There is literally no other way, that I am aware of at least, for them to gather information about drivers and/or carriers, EXCEPT for someone calling in and reporting things, or them doing their own investigation/audit, neither of which would necessarily cause things to be added to a driver's PSP.

    As per here.

Hammer166 and Cranky Yankee Thank this.
