I know that truck drivers have many different reasons for moving from one company to another. So what would you consider too many moves? 3 companies in 12 months? 3 companies in 3 years?
What do you consider Job Hopping?

Either one of those examples would work.....Maverick. But the 3 in 12 months is probably the most accurate.
ethos Thanks this. -
3 in 12 months. That's a lot of jobs, shows being unstable, can't be depended on.
herring22, Marksteven, OldHasBeen and 1 other person Thank this. -
Had 1 recently with 5 companies in 12 months and showing up for a job interview with another companies truck & trailer telling me he can start right away just got to ditch it someplace

One a year is about the minimum - the whole picture can tell a better story - relocation, divorce, children etc. Man has to pay the bills, maybe doesn't research his next move well.

Explain yourself, I've had 3 employers fold during my short career. Job hopped with others, Articulate. Explaining Gaps in your history is harder then giving a kosher reason why a company sucks.
Have a fair paying job, Took some researching and time. But. No regrets.77smartin and Steel Maverick Thank this. -
Cant get along with a trainer, can't get along with dispatch, rough on equipment AND a job hopper. All different facets of the same sign.BrenYoda883 and joseph1135 Thank this. -

If you're 25+ years old and your average employment duration can be measured in months...not years...you might be a job hopper.
