So you don't want to go to a company that "abuses drivers" and you're looking into Western Express. Kind of a Dr Jeckyl, Mr Hyde thing going on there I see.....

Located in the south is not enough info.......if you really want help the info needed is where you are , not specifics , just a city/state etc, some companies only hire from specific areas

Yeah, like Tony said. The south is pretty big. Where in the south are you? What is it that you're looking for? Want to stay in the south? Want to go to all 48 states? East of the Mississippi?

    Ok. That's better.

Swift has improved leaps and bounds and have an excellent training program. Prime also has a great training program and is one of the highest paying for new drivers. Millis transfer has a school right there in Cartersville, GA and has an excellent training program that's low cost.

Prime and Swift are 48 state companies while Millis is primarily east of the Mississippi with a wild load to the west occasionally.

Hate to rain on your parade but it's a fair game when it comes to abuse. You do your job you'll be fine. But you start arriving late at a delivery then be prepared for some words from your dispatcher.Thing to do is do your job and don't get too chummy with ppl you work with.
