Ok so how can Jack wagon companies like England stay in business with such a high turnover rate? I mean if 30 percent of people did their homework and not sign on. Those type of companies would fold because of lack of drivers.
Are we that gullible to keep them feed with new meat for the seats. Or is it the mentally that oh that could never happen to me going on? Just boggles my mind people would line up for that kinda abuse!

They form an association with a lot of financial backing so that association can pass itself off as representing the whole of the trucking industry, even though it doesn't even come close to doing that. This association does what they can to not elevate the carriers which are members of this association, but rather, force everyone else down to their level. They use that association to wield influence over those who regulate the industry, in order to tip the scales in their favor.
Between that and the mentality of, "oh... gub'mint gunna pay for my CDL training and I get to collect a check for sitting on my ### all day", they've got it made.

49% of humanity has a below average IQ. I can assure you the number is higher in the trucking industry.

I kid i kid. Seriously i do think a lot of people are easily led. I tend to be suspicious of everyone. So when i see ads promising the world on craigslist from the cr englands or western expresses i go on a crusade to learn everything - good and bad - about said company until i feel sufficiently informed enough to make a decision on joining them or not.

Like 73% of the knowledge i gained can be found here. So thanks everyone.

I will say they had a nice presentation for their suckers here at this school I was attending. Pushing the lease "Deal" hard saying they're going to gross 300k and pocket on average about 180k of it as net profit. then pointed to a CR poster and said the guy on it started with them now he has 3 trucks with them and he's a millionaire and they can be too in the matter of a year.

Get rich quick schemes still work on the gullible after all these years.

The school also said if they get their CDL and don't report to CR afterwards the school would revoke their license. That's what did it for me, I didn't trust the school after that, so now I am enrolled for a community college course instead.
