There's a dozen or more to choose from.

Mesilla Valley Transportation - school right there in El Paso. Dry van carrier.
Celadon - flatbed or refrigrated & school in Laredo.Furnish hotel room and 3 meals a day.
CTL Transportation - hazmat/tanker CDL school.

Keep in mind, your first trucking company won't be the one you retire from anyway. After your obligation/commitment is satisfied with the training company you choose, you can move on.

Did you complete CDL school before driving in the oil fields? I'm a little confused; if that's the case you still need refresher and those companies I listed can take care of that also.

i would try ffe. i heard the instructors take their jobs seriously and tuition is free as long as you complete a year with them after you're on your own. i think training pay is something like 400 first week 450 second and third and 500 fourth. don't quote me on that. i might be mixing up the training pay with some other school. i'm looking into ffe myself. good luck and hope you achieve many goals you set for yourself
