    Go to dmv, get the commercial driver's handbook/guide, study appropriate sections (dmv folks will tell you which ones), then take written test, as well as pay fee. At least that's how I remember it when I got mine in MS about two & a half years ago.

    Go to drivers license place just like if ur getting a regular license. Buy your book and get form for your cdl physical exam. You have to get physical before you can test. Cost like $50
