So recently I've finally came to working on getting my CDL here in Texas. Thing is, I'll be moving to California within the next year, more or less... My question is, once I get my CDL here in TX will it be able to transfer to CA? I've been told by a few people I have to start from scratch all over again and read on a few forums and they say the same thing.. That I'll have to start from the bottom again to get my CDL. Is this true? I just want verification, I somewhat don't see it worth it if I have to do it all over again. What do you guys think?

    Thanks!

You will have to pay a Fee, take a Vision Test, take some of the General Knowledge and Endorsements Tests over again, but you won't have to start from scratch. You will not have to take a Pre-Trip, Skills or Driving Test again.

Thanks for the reply. I guess it's not all that bad, better than having to do it all over again.
